Amazon only has the A4 (large) paperback version available I'm afraid, but yeah, it's part of the prime one-day delivery.
It's worth mentioning that the quality of the Lulu printing is better than Amazon (the paper is thicker etc), plus you can often find 15-20% discount codes online - currently "RE5CN7W15" will net you 15% off any book through Lulu, not just FORGE.
Is there a chance for hardcover(maybe even linen wrap!) or coil bound editions? :)
I believe you mentioned possibility of hardcover edition. I also recently stumbled on ‘linen wrap hardcovers’ being available on Lulu.
Also, coil bound has huge usability, so it could be an interesting addition in theory.
Sorry that the hardcover edition has taken a while. To be honest I shelved the idea because I wasn't 100% happy with the quality of the proofs I received at the time. I might look into getting this back on track and see whether the quality has improved now that it isn't peak printing season. I can certainly look in to doing a coil bound version too, even if it is just for the 7x10" or something.
Now that I think about it, the hardcover print issues were with both the A4 and A5 versions, the 7x10" hardcover actually came out nicely, so it might be that I just make that one size available in both coil & hardcover, with the other two sizes paperback only. I'll look into it! :)
Got my copy in the coil bound over the weekend and it great!The book lays flat, pages turn without issue, and it great to manage around when working with other items on the game table. Thank you again for releasing it in coil and hardcover!!
This is one of the best OSR style rulesets I've played. It's bursting with useful tools for all sorts of adventures (including material for Solo play with no additional books). This is a real deal desert-island game right here. Enough material in between these covers to game for years and the author offers it for the low, low cost of FREE. The art is nice, the layout is compact and useful, it's B/X compatible.
